New Delhi, October 2025 — Entrepreneur and influencer Yashvardhan Sharma is reportedly in advanced talks to raise 5 million in funding for his upcoming makeup brand, according to multiple sources familiar with the development. While the deal hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, the buzz inside the beauty industry suggests something major is in motion.

Insiders reveal that Sharma’s brand aims to redefine India’s makeup narrative — bold, inclusive, and unapologetically expressive. The focus, they say, is not just on products but on creating a movement that celebrates individuality and modern beauty culture.

“Yashvardhan isn’t trying to sell makeup — he’s trying to build a statement,” said one source aware of the discussions. “His approach blends storytelling, influence, and product experience in a way Indian beauty brands rarely do.”

According to early reports, Sharma has already attracted attention from two early-stage venture capital firms and several strategic investors from the fashion and lifestyle ecosystem. If the deal goes through, this would be one of the most notable early-stage raises in India’s color cosmetics space.

When asked about the ongoing talks, Sharma kept things mysterious but confident. “Let people speculate,” he said. “We’re creating something that will shift how beauty feels — not just how it looks.”

Industry watchers believe Sharma’s entry into makeup could shake up the D2C beauty ecosystem. With India’s color cosmetics market expected to hit 2.8 billion by 2028, his timing seems strategic — and the curiosity around the brand is only adding fuel.

While an official confirmation is still awaited, sources close to the development suggest the announcement could come before the end of the year. One thing is certain — Yashvardhan Sharma isn’t launching a makeup brand; he’s about to make a statement in beauty.
